Waiting on Wednesday...books I can't wait to read hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine

(Demon Trappers #1)
by Jana Oliver
Riley has always wanted to be a Demon Trapper like her father, and she's already following in his footsteps as one of the best. But it's tough being the only girl in an all-guy world, especially when three of those guys start making her life more complicated: Simon, the angelic apprentice who has heaven on his side; Beck, the tough trapper who thinks he's God's gift, and Ori, the strikingly sexy stranger who keeps turning up to save her ass. One thing's for sure - if she doesn't keep her wits about her there'll be hell to pay...

This sounds something akin to The City of Bones Series so I'll definitely be checking it out!

Here is another book I can't wait to get my hands on because the previous book in the series left me really wondering how its going to work out....I won't give anything away for those of you who haven't read Evernight and the rest of the books (if you haven't you should.....right now....go, go!) But something happened at the end of book 3 that is making me nervous...

Evernight Series #4
by Claudia Gray
The fourth book in this electrifying vampire series has all the romance, suspense, and page-turning drama that have made Claudia Gray’s Evernight books runaway successes.

Having become what they feared most, Bianca and Lucas face a terrifying new reality. They must return to Evernight Academy, Lucas as a vampire and Bianca as a wraith. But Lucas is haunted by demons, both personal and supernatural. Bianca must help him fight the evil inside him, combat the forces determined to drive them apart—and find the power to claim her destiny at last.

Readers have fallen in love with Bianca and Lucas, and they will be thrilled to read this exciting conclusion to their romantic adventure.

A wraith...a wraith? How the heck is this gonna work???

I don't know what to think of that first one. But the second one sounds great, I still haven't read that series, though.
You know, you can sign up in NetGalley.com and read it there! HarperCollins just joined them, and I've requested a couple of their online ARCs!

Hi Ella,

I signed up for NetGalley right when they first came out. I have found it difficult to read off my laptop because I usually leave it at school lately and I'm assuming I'll eventually get a Kindle, but I have to admit...I'm a die-hard traditional book fan..this digital thing is really hard for me! Thanks for commenting :)

FORSAKEN is the UK edition of this book. The U.S. one (out Feb 1) is called THE DEMON TRAPPER'S DAUGHTER (St. Martin's Griffin). It also has a different cover. Just wanted to mention that so folks aren't confused if they check out the books. (Disclaimer: I'm the author).
