Darklight (Wondrous Strange #2)
by Lesley Livingston
Released December 22, 2009
Much has changed since autumn, when Kelley Winslow learned she was Faerie royalty, fell in love with changeling guard Sonny Flannery, and saved New York City from a rampaging Faerie war band. When a terrifying encounter in Central Park sends Kelley tumbling into the Otherworld, her reunion with Sonny is joyful—but cut short.

For they’ve been plunged into a game of Faerie deception and wavering allegiances in which the next move could topple a kingdom...or part them forever.

When we meet up Kelley again she is practicing for her lead role in Romeo & Juliet and desperately missing Sonny while he is in the Otherworld on a quest to a deal with the fugitive riders from the Wild Hunt.

At the end of book one Kelley gave up her faerie powers from her father in order to save Sonny but still maintained the powers from her mother. When the possibility of losing all her faerie powers arises will Kelley be okay with it or can she ever be okay with going back to just being a "normal" human girl?

These are just a few of the issues that Kelley must deal with. She still has her mother and father (both powerful faerie royalty), the Janus guard (who guard the portals that divide the human world from the Otherworld), her roommate Tyff (who just recently admitted to being a faerie herself) and oh, so much more!

If you liked the first book you won't be disappointed with book two! Romance, some new evil villains, a few more secrets and a twist you won't see coming will keep readers turning the pages and wanting more.

Appropriate for ages 12 and up
