Being sent to your ro
om is one thing. But being sent to another country? Morgan's boyfriend dumped her on the last day of school-it seemed the only thing to do was to hack off her hair and dye the stubble orange. Unfortunately, Morgan's parents freaked and decided a change of scenery would do her good. So they're sending her off on a bike tour of Ireland. But Morgan gets more than she bargained for on the Emerald Isle-including a strange journey into some crazy, once upon a time corner of the past. There, she meets fairies, weefolk, and a hunky warrior-dude named Fergus, and figures out that she's got some growing to do-and she doesn't just mean her hair. How I Found the Perfect Dress

On a bike tour of Ireland last summer, Morgan Rawlinson fell for Colin, the hun
But when he arrives, he's exhausted. It seems that when Morgan crossed the portal as Morganne, a spell was cast on Colin. In his dreams he's being forced to dance 'til dawn with the faeries, who want to boogie with him for eternity. Somehow she has to break the spell on her date, help plan the prom, and find the perfect dress. Oh, what a night…!
I had so much fun reading these two books! I simply zipped right through them loving every minute. I jump for joy when such great stories are all wrapped up in a nice little package...GREAT, eye-catching, colorful, beautiful covers and at just over 200 pages each, middle school kids will be loving them! As in "Mrs. Wishard do you have a really good book that doesn't have too many pages?" Trust me, I get this a LOT! So now I have a couple of great books to add to that list!
Morgan is a lovely heroine with the same ups and downs as most teenagers...she just happens to be a half human/half goddess legend who can travel through time! And then there is Colin, now lets be honest...how many of us would love to have a hunky love interest with an Irish accent? Um, yeah...
Maryrose Wood is a wonderful author! Great stories, impressive writing, how can you go wrong? Be sure and read these books soon! The next book in the series will be out December 1, 2009....
What I Wore to Save the World
It’s not just the end of high school…Senior year’s coming up fast and I still have no clue about college, or a career — the whole rest-of-my-life thing is basically a blank. Maybe it’s because I spent junior year obsessing about Colin, the hunky Irish guy I fell for last summer (that was right around the same time I discovered I’m a half-goddess from the days of Irish lore — trust me, you had to be there). I even saved Colin from a nasty faery enchantment, but he doesn’t know that. Colin doesn’t believe in faeries, not one magical bit.
…it’s the end of the world.

I absolutely love the covers and they sound like really good books. They are all already on my TBR and Wishlists. I can't wait to have a chance to read them. :) Glad you liked them and hopefully they'll get your school kids reading more.

Those sound really good - adding to my TBR list. The covers are very eye catching. I love the covers with lots of color to them.
All three of these look gorgeous and sound just as amazing. I am putting them on my 'to read' pile. Seriously.
