Bookmarks for Teens....???

Monday August 17, 2009

It's almost time to go back to school and every year I get all my bookmark making supplies that I've collected over the summer (stickers, gel pens, glitter etc.) and some great cardstock that I get from our local print shop (they give me great deals on seconds, and left over pieces from custom cards etc.) and I make the kids handmade bookmarks.

The kids love bookmarks of all kinds but they absolutely love and EXPECT these handmade bookmarks! So my question is....

Do you have any ideas for handmade and inexpensive bookmarks?

Any help is appreciated!

I usually use old photographs that didn't make it into my scrapbooks. Cut them to fit on a piece of cardstock that is bookmark size. Vacation photos make the best ones.

what a great gift for the kids.

Magnetic book marks are awesome. If you can get the do it your self magnets, you could have them cut pics from magazines and make them into magnetic bookmarks :-)
